Me in Japanese wedding Kimono which looks way too long, but is actually meant to be draped around the feet as I have tried to show.

Patra's Place will be mostly about my linen collection, but also about my SINS (Stuff I'll Never Stitch), UFOs (UnFinished Objects) and projects that I am currently working on. Since I created this first blog, I have diversified somewhat! You can see the list of my other blogs, and my favourite websites and blogs by other people, on the sidebar.

Your kimono is wonderful Gina. It's funny, I'm about to make a miniature kimono for a friend's birthday!
I'm just back online, afer 3 weeks off the Internet, so I just got your comment about the "Skyscape" I stitched for my DBF. It was a kit, but if you want the chart I can send it to you, now I am done with it! Tell me what you think. If you wish to email me, just click on the kitty sitting on a mailbox (left hand column in my blog) ;)
Keep up the great job with your (now two) blogs! It is always an enchantment to look at your linen. :)
Gina, it's beautiful!
That is lovely Gina! What wonderful material and how nice to have a kimono just for yourself.
Gina, woops! I've just remembered that since I changed my blog theme last month, you need to click on an angel and not a kitty to email me! LOL!
Looks like you had a great day in Melbourne! Take your time to come down to earth - enjoy your enthusiastic mood as long as it will last!
