RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) cushion cover. This was one of the items sent to me by Lee Anne - found in an op shop. I love this kind of social history embroidery. How could anyone discard this so carelessly?

gina I am so pleased this piece now is in a very special collection. R.A.A.F is it I never got that! lol lol anyway as you say how could anyone toss this treasure out. I wonder how it ended at the tip shop in hobart. have a lovely week
