Wow! what type of stitching did they use to fill in the dress and all so perfectly? Oh the things you have in your collection that are 'showpieces'....how fantastic!

Maggie ann, the dress is all done in stem (or outline) stitch, row after row, very close together. It must have taken not hours, but weeks of work. As I said, I have three or four other aprons done like that, and I marvel over each one. I just wish I could have met the person who did them.
