Gifted linens now sorted out.

I have washed and pressed all the linens that the generous lady sent me last week.  I laid out a piece of dark blue fabric to put the crocheted items on to show up their patterns.  I will only be keeping a few items from all these, as I have so much already, so I'm hoping blog readers and members of the DTE forum reading this will take some off my hands!  Whenever I am given big collections like that, I am happy to give away what I don't want, so just email me with any queries, or leave a comment here.  I've put notes underneath the photos indicating which items I will be most likely to keep.

The crocheted "Success To The Allies" will stay with me.

Will probably keep the above doiley as the stitching is beautiful.

Will definitely keep this little gem!  Can't wait to embroider those little chickens :-)

Still deciding on this...I have had hundreds of unfinished cloths over the years, but ended up selling or giving them away to other people, as I never seemed to get the time.  But there isn't a lot to do on this one to finish it off, and it helps that the threads were kept with it.

Again what a beautiful collection...
If no one else takes up the little fushia cloth or the long one next to it I would be happy to take them off your hands... This new place has lots of long built in shelves that would suit them just nicely... If they are already spoken for that's ok too. The fact that they will find people that appreciate them is great. Hope all is well at your end. Take care x x

I collect beaded jug covers and would love one if you want to give it away. Many thanks, Valerie

Success to the Allies must be a rare item. The pieces are all lovely but nothing royal so I won't take any off your hands. Sylvia

What a collection, I followed your link from DTE forum. I really like the towel? with the baskets and the crochet is it a collar? in the second picture at the top.

Hi Gina, I've been looking for one or two beaded jug covers, but not because I collect them, but I need (eh, want) some to use.
If you have any that aren't too flash or fancy I'll gladly put my hand up for those!
Ann (I stalked you here from the DTE forum!)
