First finish for this year!

Finally! I have finished the Christmas card for Annie - better late than never. This pattern is from a book called Two Hour Country Cross Stitch. It took me more than two hours to do the back stitching alone! I don't know where these people get two hours from, geeezzz...Anyway, I'm happy with it, and I hope Annie will be too. It is stitched on 18ct Aida which has silver lurex thread running through the fabric, making it sparkle. This photo doesn't really show it up.

It looks lovely Gina - did you stitch the lurex thread on my 'ornie' as well. It would have taken you two hours for that alone also. I had it hanging on my door and everyone who saw it, loved it.

Oh, I know what you mean. 1 sqaure of cross stitch takes me an hour or more! Maybe I am just a snail stitcher. LOL. Your finished card is beautiful! Gina, you asked on my blog when I was going to embroider some more of the lovely linens that you sent to me. Now that I have finished customers orders and have quit taking orders to get things made for the summer's farmer's market, I can now take the time to stitch one of these treasures! I want you to know how much I do love them. Thank you again for your sweet generosity!Blessings,Kathleen
