EBay goodies.

Four nice items arrived today from one of my favourite Sellers:
A beautifully stitched centrepiece: Closeup of centrepiece stitching: Assisi-style embroidery with exquisite crocheted edge: Do you remember seeing this design on my blog earlier this year? I stitched it as a black kitten on a red couch. So when I saw this version, I just had to have it as a comparison to the one I'd done. Yes, ANOTHER UFO. I couldn't resist this unusual design, and it won't take long to finish it. Nor will the other 500 I have in my stash...

Hi Gina,

I think that centre piece
with the purple flowers is
exquisite!! And the little
blue flowers are sweet too.
It looks like an unusual
piece to me.

Love the kitty on the couch
design. And it's neat to
have two different versions
of the same design.

I like that little apron with
the blue design too. Very
pretty blue. I guess that's
meant to be a Chinese village.

It was cruise night here in
Georgetown. We went to a the
parking lot of a local grocery
store where some 100 cars from
the 50's and 60's and 70's were
parked. DH has finally gotten
our '55 fixed and running, so
we took her along. See my blog
for pictures of her on her first
run a few weeks ago.

Cheers!

good old eBay Gina, lots of lovely vintage linen out there.....these pieces are so nice.

I left you a message on your Andre Rieu blog :)

We hope to visit with you soon but Rob is so tired at the moment working way day at werribee and taking almost 2 hours to get home at night. So I think a rest at the weekends is needed at the moment.

No rest for me I am doing a buffet dinner for up to 150 men next wednesday and I will be glad to see it finished.

Love to you & Ken Lee-ann
