Update on Chief UFO

See? Nearly finished! If you click on the photo, it may bring it close enough to see where I've done back stitching around the face, and also the beads I used to embellish his jade adornments.

I enjoyed visiting this morning. Boy, what beautiful work you do. I loved seeing everything. You are one talented person.

I have cross stitched before and like doing it, but don't do it enough. I like to crochet and knit a bit...usually just dish cloths. Just something to keep your hands busy while relaxing.

Thank you all for your kind words - do you know, if I didn't have this blog, and hadn't received the ongoing support from my online friends, I doubt if I would have got this project going again. I was so annoyed at Ken for removing all my other embroideries from the wall in our lounge room a few years ago, I vowed I would never finish the Indian for him. So thank you all, and a special thank you to Sharon who introduced me to the blogging community in the first place!
