Like so many people, I have long had a fascination for sailing ships, so when this table centre appeared on eBay, I had to bid for it!

I have never seen anything like this, its wonderful! I wondor what my Grandmother would have thought of being able to buy treasures like this over the net. She was an avid needlework person, as many were in those days, no tv you know...smile.

Funny how ships are all the rage right now--nautical stuff, pirates, etc. I bought a vintage tea towel on ebay with a sailor girl. The plan was to make a pillow, but it's too nice to cut up!
