This will be stitched on to a piece of gingham print fabric and made into a pincushion.

So, do you collect pieces of embroidery? Looks like you have some great items there to drool over! Ever thought of doing that kind of work yourself??

Hi girls! Thanks for dropping by. Elisabeth, yes I do quite a bit of embroidery myself; I'm a member of the Embroiderers' Guild here in Melbourne, and have done a course in traditional stitching, although I have been sewing since I was a child - we all learnt at school back then!
Zalita, I won't be posting another pic of this, as I have just tacked it onto a piece of gingham and made it up as the cushion, and it is now on its way to the USA. Thanks in advance for your pressie - I will of course post a message here as soon as it arrives!
