My friend Sharon discovered this in one of her favourite opshops, and told me about it. I didn't get there until a few weeks later, and fortunately it was still there. I bought a few other things as well, and the shop assistant must have got a bit flustered, because she ended up charging me about $4 for this! I have done one of these Black Cat designs myself, and have two more charts waiting to be done. This is not one of them, but I just had to have it on my wall with mine, even though I haven't stitched it. The Embroiderer has worked it beautifully, but the frame has been knocked around, so I will probably have it reframed one day.

Hello Gina so nice to be home it was lovely being away but with all the reno's happening here at the moment I am pleased to be back watching over them and the muddy mess.

Gina, I love the piece that you stitched, and what luck to find another one at a second-hand shop. I have stitched a few of these ones and have several others in my stash to stitch one day. I haven't been blogging of late but have been keeping up to date with your blog and have set up a blog for myself again. I would be interested to see how your indian is coming along.

there are several of the black cat patterns, including some for each month, at Nordic Needle. they also have a series of chubbier and fuzzier kittens which are verrrrry cute. Plus just about every other kind of needlework you could imagine.
