Again, I'm not sure if this comes under Lagartera. Please advise!

Patra's Place will be mostly about my linen collection, but also about my SINS (Stuff I'll Never Stitch), UFOs (UnFinished Objects) and projects that I am currently working on. Since I created this first blog, I have diversified somewhat! You can see the list of my other blogs, and my favourite websites and blogs by other people, on the sidebar.

The orange 4 sided stitches and the feeler like stitches done in black seem to be characteristics of Lagartera. They appear in a couple of lagartera Charts I own. The satin stitches in your sample are square shaped while mine are diamond shaped with a tiny space in the center. My charts are from a needlework book published in India by Coats in 1973. Coats India is a subsidiary of Coats U.K.
Hi Bhavani,
Thank you very much for your comments; it is very helpful to read this, as I really have no idea about the technique, apart from what I read on SharonB's blog.
What a beautiful design!
