In the words of Bloggers - EYE CANDY!
I was just about to post pix of my latest eBay acquisition of a pair of pillowcases, but they have peacocks on them, so they belong over here.
So you will have to be satisfied with photos of my kitchen and dining room tables this week...hey, that's an idea - I should do this every week! Goodness only knows I have enough cloths to show for another ten years!
Here is the dining room, with a close-up pic. following:
And here is the cloth on the kitchen table, again followed by a closeup:

Those cloths are beautiful, Gina. Did you work them all yourself?
You're kidding, Alice! No way! No, I guess I should have mentioned that they are both ex eBay. Among all the items I have stitched over the years, I've never stitched a whole tablecloth myself. I've finished some off for my mother-in-law, and also some that I have found nearly completed either on eBay or at op-shops. One day I will do my very own from start to finish!
I love them. I have one hand embriodered table cloth which my grandmother made for me, I keep thinking I should get more, or make one of my own.
Oh, so you actually use your lovely things do you? That's nice.
Just noticed your comment, so to answer it, no, we don't have a webcam. It would be nice to talk, yes, though I think I'd be better at talking face to face. Do come round to coffee if you're ever in Scotland!
What gorgeous cloths, Gina. You sure do have an eye for beautiful things.
Hmmm, gotta look into ebay some more ... lots of nice stuff there !!
Take care, Meow
I love the eye candy that you post:)
They are gorgeous!
Thank you ladies for your lovely comments. I hope I have visited your blogs in return..I'm positive I have. Loulee, you treasure that cloth your grandmother made for you, that is real family heritage stuff.
Isabelle, yes I do use as much of my collection as possible. I change cloths around on a regular basis, as well as doilies etc. that are displayed around the house. Connie, you and I chatted tonight, so nothing further to write for you here!
Diane, your own eye candy is pretty sensational!
Hi Gretchen, nice to meet you!
