As those who read this blog will know, I do not dabble in quilting and patchwork, but that doesn't stop me admiring it, and let me tell you, Cheryl and I were both absolutely 'blown away' by the quilts on show today. There was a fantastic array of designs and styles. There was even one dedicated to Elvis:

Thanks for the photos of the quilts. I expect many of them will be on display at the Craft Show in Canberra in a couple of weeks. My daughter, Tanya, makes lovely quilts, as do my sisters, but I've not tackled one yet.

Wow! what beautiful quilts...the Asian ones are stunning as is the stained glass one. We too had a lot of Asian themed quilts here this year.
Some gilrs from here went over for the show..
I think our guild president had hers in the show...it is a black and white one, it's work is a waterfall over rocks..

Wow, how beautiful. I don't think we have any quilting exhibitions here in Scotland - or possibly I just don't know about them. How do people ever have the time to do such lovely things, I wonder.
I'm so glad I got to enjoy your pictures..the quilts are stunningly beautiful. Like you, I admire them to pieces! Our quilt show here was much smaller than yours, but sadly..this year we were told we were not allowed to publish any pictures without the owners permission. What a bit of a killjoy...but I understand...smile. The 'Stained Glass' one just took my breath away..the beauty of it. And, my second favorite was the Japanese one. Amazing how life like the womens's hair and profiles are! Thanks for sharing...its been fun to have a look. =)
