Patra's Place will be mostly about my linen collection, but also about my SINS (Stuff I'll Never Stitch), UFOs (UnFinished Objects) and projects that I am currently working on. Since I created this first blog, I have diversified somewhat! You can see the list of my other blogs, and my favourite websites and blogs by other people, on the sidebar.

Gina, what a wonderful!!! piece of work! His face is just wonderful and I clicked to enlarge the picture....how impressive that you are doing the stitching on linen. Love it!
Hurrah! I've been hoping for a picture. He's looking fantastic! What a relief that your "oops" was easy to fix. I love the textures in this project. Very nice indeed!
Take two...
Looking good G... I have been talking about my Indian - the ladies at the Tapestry Guild have offered to help me graph him - hmmm not sure about that one... I don't think I am up to him just yet... I got to see some lovely old pieces one of the women bought to the Guild - they belonged to a members mother - I was telling them about your stash..
I made a very quick trip to the quilt convention yesterday - very crowded - I didn't really enjoy all the pushing and shoving.. Signs of age perhaps????Didn't really buy very much...
You and Ken have been very much on my mind this week...
Not much to report from this end - just the same - work and home...E starts tafe this week - and so the year begins in earnest...
Take care... Speak to you (one way or another) soon..
Hi everyone, thanks for commenting on my Indian! Sharon, I look forward to catching up with you and P - make a time soon so we can do some stitching together! Nice to hear you are going to the Tapestry Guild...Ken said why don't I go with you, and I said we always seem to be doing something else :-(
Maggie ann, don't be too impressed - it isn't linen! Just common old 14ct Aida - LOL!
