Our IKEA DVD cabinet.

It is probably not everyone's idea of storage for DVDs etc. but it suits us perfectly, especially our budget. We could have gone down the track of our friends who have had really stunning shelves and cabinets custom made, but well over the $1000 mark which is way out of our price range. As you can see by the picture, the DVDs sit end up so we can read the title. Each drawer holds about 100, and three drawers are full, with the fourth one half full.

Hmmm. I like this. Our DVD's are currently residing in boxes and plastic trays which are very awkward to get out and browse through. Only thing is I don't know where we'd put a cupboard like this. Sigh. Our next door neighbours have just returned from spending Xmas with family in Oz. I believe that they were in Sydney.
Said weather was weird at times. Cheers Judy

I think it looks excellent, good find... I have just needed to store my record collection, to make room for the DVD's - we have mostly music concert videos, that's our favourites.

Hi girls, thank you for visiting! Judy, this cabinet really isn't very big at all - quite compact for something that holds so much!
Sharon and Maggie - yeah, I think Ken did a great job!
Della - we had to find another place for our LP records too. It would be great to have them all transferred to CD one day...all 500 of them - OMG! What kind of music concerts do you like - pop or classics?
