"It takes ages to finish a quilt you're not working on!"

This is where I am at with my primary UFO (I say primary, because I have so many of them, but this is probably the one I want to get finished first, mostly to get hubby off my back!)

Hi Gina, This piece is amazing.
Looks complicated tho. Was it a
kit? Are you giving it to DH when
it's done?
Cheers Judy

Hi Judy, thanks for commenting. I guess by some standards this design is not really complicated; there are no half or quarter stitches, no back stitching or other embellishing to be done. But the range of colours, especially on the face, kept me on my toes, I can tell you. Yes, it is a kit (Sunset) and yes, Ken will receive it finished and framed for his birthday or Christmas next year (says she, crossing fingers!)

This piece is wonderful, and it is very appropriate for our Thanksgiving:)

You are doing a fantastic job of it! I've never done anything of this magnitude. Keep up the good work, looks like you're coming down the home stretch!
