This is one of two hand towels I received recently from the USA. The other one is a peacock, so it is on my other blog (Patra's Embroidered Peacocks), along with two other embroidered peacocks that have arrived recently.
Patra's Place will be mostly about my linen collection, but also about my SINS (Stuff I'll Never Stitch), UFOs (UnFinished Objects) and projects that I am currently working on. Since I created this first blog, I have diversified somewhat! You can see the list of my other blogs, and my favourite websites and blogs by other people, on the sidebar.

Oh Gina, now this is so cute.
Have you any other's with mermaids
on them??
Hi Judy, I hope you are reading this. I have been trying to post comments on your blog but this stupid new blogger-beta (NOT better!) won't let me for some reason. Anyway, no, I don't have anything else with embroidered mermaids - that's why I bid on eBay for this one. It is cute!
These mermaids are adorable:)
Well, isn't that novel...I've never seen the like before..charming.
Adorable. Were mermaids a pattern at one point (Vogart or something)? I would make this. I'll actually be attempting embroidery again soon--a swap item. I just ordered the pattern. Have you considered buying and selling linen for a living? You seem to love it so. Or document items in a book or a museum?
Barb, just in case you are keeping an eye on this posting to see if I reply to it, I'm going to start a new post for it, as your questions open a large can of worms!
