Have you ever seen more perfect stitching? Done with one strand of floss, this actually measures 4.5 x 2 inches (12 x 5 cm approx). One of a pair of linen placemats I have just received from the U.K.

Hi girls, thanks for all the comments - lovely to hear/read from you as always! Yeah, this piece of stitching really is a one-off. I don't have too many in my collection that are as tiny as this, and so perfectly stitched as well.
