Late Christmas surprise in the mail.

Happy New Year to all my stitching blog friends! I received a gorgeous biscornu in the mail on Dec. 31 - nice way to end the year! (She also sent the beaded thingy - sweet!) Shari in Canada posted this to me way back in October, for a Stitchin Fingers exchange. She'd received mine in good time, but hers apparently got sent by surface mail. As I said to her...dingbats (working in the post office over there!)

That's a pretty ornie, Gina. It's tricky to go surface mail from Canada to Australia! It probably just sat on some truck a long time. Glad it arrived safely... a good omen for the new year.

Happy New Year to you Gina!
Unbelievable that the ornament arrived after such a long time!
It's very nice and i think the beaded thingy is a scissors fob.
