Patra's Place will be mostly about my linen collection, but also about my SINS (Stuff I'll Never Stitch), UFOs (UnFinished Objects) and projects that I am currently working on. Since I created this first blog, I have diversified somewhat! You can see the list of my other blogs, and my favourite websites and blogs by other people, on the sidebar.

Latest ebay win.
One of my favourite eBay sellers is in NSW; her linens are consistently of the highest quality - no 'cutters' from this lady! Most of her auctions go for high prices because she is known for her good taste. I was lucky enough to win this supper cloth and matching napkins, stitched in the Assisi style, which I just adore. I have other similar cloths, but can't help adding to my collection, especially when they are in such excellent condition.
Close up.

Are you addicted to Ebay?? LOL
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I've never seen outline stitching done with cross stitch background. Is this what you mean by 'Aussie style'? I'm curious!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely Gina! And very unusual. I've never seen Assisi work done with the x stitch background either. I have a thing for vintage fruit embroidery so I'm quite taken with these. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI hardly know what to say. This set is beyond words! It is quite a find. I must confess I've pinched your pictures so I can look at it again when I'm off-line. So lovely!
