Remember the linen I cleaned for a friend while I was on holiday? Well, these are some pictures taken on the day I brought it back home, and Ken thought I had bought it all at an auction!

  1. Gina, how sweet of you to do all that work for your friend, even though I'm sure there were lots of 'pretties' there....=)

  2. Did you use some special techniques and/or washing solution to clean all this linen?

  3. Hi Maggie and Cici, thanks for your comments! Cici, I use an Aussie product called Napisan to soak all my linen. I forget what the American equivalent is called, but it comes under the class of oxygenating cleaners, or something like that. It does NOT contain ammonia or any kind of bleach. I soak my linens in it overnight (or longer if they are badly stained), then rinse them in cold water, and hang them on the clothes line to dry.

  8. Oh my goodness, that is a serious pile of linens! You are such a dear to undertake that much cleaning, especially while on holiday. Wish I could have seen Ken's face when he thought you bought it all, that would have been priceless!
