"It takes ages to finish a quilt you're not working on!"

People have been putting pictures of their stash etc. on their blogs. I have already shown my wardrobe of tablecloths and aprons, my tallboy with linen bursting forth, and my cupboard of UFOs and SINS. This is just one of my bookshelves. The top two shelves are other books, but the bottom section is mostly filled with embroidery and cross stitch charts and magazines. The two shallow shelves on the right contain boxes of calligraphy paraphernalia.

(Blush...) yes, it is wallpaper. This bouse was built in the mid 1970's and we haven't done anything much inside (or outside) apart from repaint when absolutely necessary. Not that we love the wallpaper, we are too lazy to get rid of it ourselves, and we can't afford to pay someone else to do something!

What a nice stash you have Gina! Its a library of info and patterns and eye candy pretties to look at..thats how I feel. Just looking at the vintage crochet booklets is wonderful, and who knows who will inherit them after we pass on and what they will make. Not a real cheery thought, that one, is it? Oh well, considering my day....if you can I'd love it if you scanned in just a few of your vintage cards...hey, what about Flickr? Just thinking as I type, ignore me *smile*.

Gina love your shevles. I only have a few cross stich and knitting type books. I like to do it but it never seems to come out as nice as the pictures. Oh well maybe someday.
